Leanne E. Lomax, M.Ed. has been writing poetry since 1982, and about the holidays since 1984. Over the years, she has become an expert in holiday gift-givers around the world, due to her extensive research and travel for this series of books. She was even fortunate enough to spend a Christmas in France, and one in Egypt; and, was able to introduce her young, French-Dutch niece and nephew to the wonders of Pere Noel. The invaluable experiences helped focus her research on which information was correct.

Leanne will begin working on the illustrations for the next book in this series “Santa Claus: Holiday Traditions Worldwide, Volume 2.”

Leanne E. Lomax, M.Ed. was a teacher for many years. She graduated from California Lutheran University with a Baccalaureate degree in Computer Information Systems, and a Master’s Degree in Education. Leanne lives with her partner, Robert Staback and their combined family of eight, in California where she enjoys doing research, traveling, painting, writing, and reading.
