Masha Sova came to the U.S. at eighteen with a suitcase full of dreams and absolutely no idea that one day she'd be writing books filled with magic, mayhem, and morally complex love interests.

After founding an animal rescue in Brooklyn dedicated to saving the most heartbreaking cases of abuse and neglect, Masha did something equally brave: she started writing the stories she wanted to read.
