Travis Casey is an American British “in print entertainer,” which is a way of saying he writes books because stand up comedy requires faster reflexes than he has. After living in more places than a piece of lost luggage, he now channels his nomadic confusion into beach read fiction and satirical memoirs— the kind of stories that prove irony, chaos, and questionable life choices can, in fact, be a lot of fun.
Each of his books in his latest series-Carolina Callings-has won Incipere Awards in Noir and Domestic Thriller three years running; 2023, 2024, 2025
His humor is known for throwing caution to the wind and creating characters we've all met-and some of those people show poor judgment, can be politically incorrect, or leave you scratching your head in a "what just happened?" moment. Such is life.
Travis' favorite quote is by Truman Capote: You can't blame a writer for what the characters say.
