Brandy Danner is a middle-school librarian. She has been a reviewer for School Library Journal and an active participant in the Massachusetts Youth Services Book Review Group. She served on YALSA’s Technology for Young Adults committee in 2009 and was convener of the related YALSA Interest Group, Teens and Technology, the following year.

Brandy’s interest in dystopian fiction and apocalyptic scenarios dates back to her own teen years, when she first encountered Fahrenheit 451. Her increased awareness of the ways the world could end causes no small amount of concern. She lives in Cambridge, MA, with her husband and son.

She's a big fan of cheese, in both the B-movie sense and the cultured dairy product.
