Pippa Clarke is tired.

Her reputation as an up and coming cat burglar is in tatters after her first solo heist is ruined by Wildfire and MindWeaver. In order to get back into her adoptive mother’s good graces, she’s decided to retry the heist.

When she meets Emile on campus, it’s like a breath of fresh air has been breathed back into her. However, as she and Emile get closer she’s being pulled into different the doting girlfriend, the masters student, the best friend and the villain. When nefarious plans come to life and old enemies come crawling out of the woodwork Pippa has to balance her daytime activities with her night time persona in order to keep Emile safe from threats being made against him. Suddenly, there’s danger around every corner, an untold destiny and many more answers that raise more questions. All she knows is that she has to suit up because the ride just started.
