Marcie L. Boyer has been working hard her whole life – since the age of 10. As an adult, she has held positions in Administration, Information Technology, Teaching, Leadership, Business Advising and Ownership. She holds a BBA degree in Finance from the City University of New York’s Baruch College.
As a dedicated volunteer, she has received many awards and recognitions, and has a diverse array of skills and experience – both in, business and in life. Quite simply, Marcie is an accomplished, educated, and driven individual.
She has another side of her too: a creative side – a passion for writing from her heart to help others with life’s difficulties.
Marcie has experienced many life challenges, the first of which happened even before she was born: she is an abortion-survivor. She has taken this knowledge to propel her to make a difference in the world and to make the most of each moment.
Marcie’s writing passion began in 2007, when she instinctively shared her life story with a customer she met in her fair trade store. Deeply moved by Marcie’s story, she told Marcie to write it down and share it with others. This inspirational seed grew within Marcie until, finally, in 2009, she began to write it all down.
Marcie’s debut book, “What I Know about Jumping,” explains how to make a major life change. Based on her recent move from the US to live in the UK, Marcie shares the many difficult life changes she has made in order to live with purpose.
Her writings include other contemplative topics, such as: race, relationships, women’s issues, and money and power.
Marcie lives in the UK with her husband and daughter, and her feral-born cat lovingly nicknamed “Zen Master.”
